Made in the USA in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility. This winch line is heavy duty, and is perfectly suited for the larger 12,000 and 15,000 lb winches from Warn, Ramsey, Superwinch and many others. ASR's Standard 5/8” Winch Line is made from high strength HMPE (High Modulus PolyEthylene) line. The benefits of a quality HMPE-based synthetic winch line are many: HMPE is as strong as high-carbon/high-strength steel, and yet because of it's extremely low density, it’s so light it floats. Unlike other synthetic fibers, HMPE does not stretch, and so in the event of a break there is no snapback, the ends will simply fall to the ground. HMPE line also will not kink or burr like a steel cable, making it much safer on the hands. We use HMPE that is manufactured with built-in UV inhibitors, is unaffected by exposure to mildew/mold and is currently in service with militaries around the world.
ASR’s Standard Synthetic Winch Line features a heavy duty stainless steel thimble in the eye, providing an extremely durable opening on which any number of attachments can be placed. The body is coated with a very pliable polymeric coating that provides excellent durability against abrasion and water/heavy weather and UV exposure, and features a 100" Drum safety color that lets you know you are close to the end of your line.
ASR's 5/8" Standard Winch Line has an MTS of 51,400 lbs, and can be paired with 5 Ton Crosby Sling Hook.
