KIT MODULE B is the first accessory module of ASR's modular vehicle recovery kit. This version of Kit Module B is sized for use with a vehicle with a GVWR of between 9,000 and 11,000 lbs, and with a winch capacity of up to 12,000 lbs. This Kit Module expands the functionality of Module A - Modules A and B together include all items required to perform either a Static Pull or Kinetic Pull from the front of a vehicle with two bumper-mounted recovery points. Whenever conducting a recovery, do not exceed the rated capacity of the recovery point. Items included in this Kit Module are as follows:
(1) 9/16" x 25' HMPE Bridle (37,900 lb MBS) - properly sized for use as a bridle during a pull - use of a bridle during a static or kinetic pull off the front of a vehicle splits the force of the pull between two recovery points, reducing recovery point stress and providing better control when pulling. This Bridle is also properly sized for use as a winch line extension on the anchor side of the pulley block during a double line pull.
(2) 7/16" Flex Soft Shackles (47,000 lb MBS) - properly sized for use with the Kinetic Rope, Flat Strap and on the anchor end of a [Winch Recovery] Double Line Pull.
