Made in the USA in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility. ASR's "Extreme" Soft Shackles are an incredibly strong, lightweight and reliable alternative to heavy metal shackles. They are made from US-made Plasma HMPE (High Modulus PolyEthylene) rope, the highest strength synthetic rope available. Plasma rope has excellent abrasion resistance properties, and we add a braided guard on the body of each Extreme Soft Shackle to greatly improve abrasion resistance. We also coat them with a weatherproof exterior polymeric surface coating that provides both vibrant color options and practical protection against dirt and debris intrusion - exposure to which over time can damage the load bearing fibers.

ASR Soft Shackles are stronger and much lighter than comparable steel shackles - in fact they are so light that they float - and they do not rust. There is no stronger Soft Shackle on the market. Applications are wide-ranging, and include: 4x4 off-road/vehicle recovery, towing, military, agriculture & mining equipment, various marine activities and so much more! Flex Soft Shackles can be washed off with water and air dried. This item is manufactured and tested in conformance with API Q1 Specification standards. Although Plasma fibers are stronger than steel, they are susceptible to wear and cutting - always inspect shackle before use for excess wear, cutting, or worn/frayed areas.
