Details on this kit's components are as follows:
ASR KINETIC RECOVERY ROPE: This US-Made rope smoothly transfers kinetic energy from an "assist" vehicle to a "stuck" vehicle, stretching up to 20% under nominal load (30% stretch at max strength rating), avoiding the terrible shock loading associated with yanking on a strap or non-elastic rope, cable or chain. Then entire body of our 3/4" Ultimate Kinetic Recovery Rope is coated with a flexible, durable, weather resistant polymeric coating (which we offer in many different colors). It also has hard dipped eyes, further increasing durability at this key wear point. Rated at 19,000 lbs Minimum Tensile Strength (MTS, equivalent to Minimum Breaking Strength), ASR's 3/4" diameter UKRR is designed for use with Mid-Sized SUVs and Pickups like the Jeep Wrangler, Ford Bronco and Chevy Colorado. Made in the USA in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility, and manufactured and tested in conformance with API Q1 Specification standards.
ASR FLEX SOFT SHACKLE: With a 29,000 lb MTS, ASR's 5/16" Flex Soft Shackle perfectly compliments our 3/4" Kinetic Rope. Made of ultra-strong Plasma HMPE Rope, they are as strong as steel cable but 6X lighter, so light that they float. Plasma has the best abrasion resistance of any synthetic fiber made, and these soft shackles are covered with an exterior polymeric coating to provide additional protection against abrasion and debris intrusion. There is no stronger 5/16" Soft Shackle on the market. This item is manufactured and tested in conformance with API Q1 Specification standards.
ASR HARD CASE: Our US-Made Injection Molded 20" Hard Case (interior dimensions of 18.9" x 14.5" x 7.5") is a rock solid container built to take abuse. It's atmospherically sealed to meet IP67 waterproofing standards, with a Gore-Tex vent valve to equalize air pressure without letting moisture in. When the end of the world comes, this case and everything in it will be fine.
OPTIONAL VENTED BAG: This bag is perfect for storing all your gear. Made in the USA, extremely lightweight yet as strong as can be, with a multitude of carrying handles, an optimally placed center of gravity when loaded, built with MILSPEC mesh that allows damp/wet gear to quickly dry, and featuring an oversized zipper... the quality of this bag cannot easily be overstated!
OPTIONAL ASR EXTREME SOFT SHACKLE: ASR's 5/16" Extreme Soft Shackle retains a 29,000 lb MBS and adds a tough braided guard down the length of the body for greatly improved abrasion resistance. Ideal for use in the dirtiest and most abrasive of environments.
