Product Description
This is the base ASR Kinetic Rope Recovery Kit, Kit comes with an ASR 1" diameter Ultimate Kinetic Recovery Rope (UKRR), two 3/4" Van Beest Green Pin Shackles and a drawstring ASR Stash Bag with sewn-on side handle. Component details are as follows:
ASR "ULTIMATE" KINETIC RECOVERY ROPE: This US-Made rope smoothly transfers kinetic energy from an "assist" vehicle to a "stuck" vehicle, stretching up to 20% under nominal load (30% stretch at max strength rating), avoiding the terrible shock loading associated with yanking on a strap or non-elastic rope, cable or chain. The entire body of our UKRR is coated with a flexible polymeric coating (which we offer in many colors) that improves resistance to abrasion & debris intrusion. It also has hard dipped eyes, further increasing durability at this key wear point. Rated at 33,500 lbs Minimum Tensile Strength (MTS, equivalent to Minimum Breaking Strength), ASR's 1" diameter UKRR has a Working Load Limit of 11,000 lbs and is designed for use by heavier Electric and Super-Duty Pickup Trucks and the largest of SUVs. Made in the USA in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility, and manufactured and tested in conformance with API Q1 Specification standards. 3/4" VAN BEEST GREEN PIN® SHACKLE: Van Beest Green Pin® Shackles are one of the most recognizable pieces of recovery and rigging equipment on the market. They are designed, manufactured, and certified in The Netherlands. The bow and pin on these Green Pin® Screw Pin Anchor Shackles are high tensile steel, Grade 6, quenched and tempered with a hot-dipped galvanized finish, and maintain 100% of original WLL in temperature ranges from -4°F to 392°F. The 3/4" Van Beest Green Pin Shackle comes with a 4.75 ton (10,474 lb) Working Load Limit rating for overhead lifting at a 6:1 safety factor, giving it a rated breaking strength above 62,000 lbs. Note the diameter on a 3/4" Van Beest Green Pin® Shackle is 7/8". Pro tip - when putting the rope eye onto the shackle, slide it on at a non-hard-dipped section of the eye, as it will be softer and easier to get through the shackle gate.
