ASR's Kinetic Recovery Ropes smoothly transfer max kinetic energy from an "assist" vehicle to a "stuck" vehicle, stretching up to 20% under nominal load (30% stretch at max strength rating), avoiding the terrible shock loading associated with yanking on a strap or non-elastic rope. The entire body of our "Ultimate" Kinetic Recovery Rope is coated with a flexible, durable, weather resistant polymeric coating (which we offer in many different colors). It also has hard dipped eyes, further increasing durability at this key wear point.
ASR's 1/2" Ultimate Kinetic Recovery Rope has an MTS of 7,400 lbs. Applying a Kinetic Rope-specific 3:1 Safety Factor yields a recommended Working Load Limit of 2,500 lbs.

In order to prevent excessive shock loading of the rope, vehicle frame and connection points that can lead to catastrophic structural failure, never accelerate past 5 mph when using a Kinetic Recovery Rope.
