BASE KIT is the base module of ASR's modular vehicle recovery kit. This Base Kit is sized for use with a vehicle with a GVWR of between 11,000 and 17,434 lbs, and with a winch capacity of up to 15,000 lbs. This kit includes all items required to perform either a Static Pull or Kinetic Pull from the rear of a vehicle, using a Recovery Point mounted in the tow hitch receiver. Whenever conducting a recovery, do not exceed the rated capacity of the recovery point. Items included in this kit are as follows:
(1) Hitch Recovery Point (55,000 lb MBS) - serves as a rear recovery point when mounted in the tow hitch receiver.
(1) Hitch Receiver Pin - used to mount the Hitch Recovery Point to the tow hitch receiver.
(1) 1-1/4" x 20' Ultimate Kinetic Rope (52,300 lb MBS) - proper size for use with a 11,000-17,434 lb GVWR vehicle.
(1) 3" x 10' 3-Ply Tree Saver Strap (62,500 lb MBS) - properly sized for use for a Static Pull, as an extension for the Kinetic Rope, and as a Tree Saver when winching.
(2) 1/2" Flex Soft Shackles (62,500 lb MBS) - properly sized for use with the Kinetic Rope, Flat Strap and on the anchor end of a [Winch Recovery] Double Line Pull.
(1) ASR Mesh Gear Bag (12" x 12" x 24").
(1) Pair Leather FastFit Mechanic Gloves.
