Like many other off-road vehicles, Overlanding Sprinter Vans typically have a tow hitch in the back and recovery points on the front - some also have a winch on the front bumper.  When building a vehicle recovery equipment kit for your van, there are only two questions to ask: A) what is my van's GVWR, and B) what is the max rated capacity of my winch (if any).  Everything else is sized based on these two data points.  Our Sprinter Recovery kit is designed to minimizes the overall number of kit components needed to achieve all 7 fundamental vehicle recovery configurations (Static from back, Static from front, Kinetic from back, Kinetic from front, Single Line Pull (using winch), Double Line Pull (using winch) and Redirect (using winch).  This modular kit comes in three different component sets:
 
Module A: Everything needed to facilitate two recovery configurations: (1) static recovery from back of vehicle & (2) kinetic recovery from back of vehicle, both using a hitch receiver as the recovery point.
 
Module B: An accessory set that expands the functionality of Module A to enable two additional recovery configurations: (3) static recovery off front of vehicle & (4) kinetic recovery off front of the vehicle, both using a bridle to distribute loading across both front recovery points.
 
Module C (applicable only for vans with winches, or for vans with owners who may install a winch in the future): An accessory set that expands the functionality of Modules A & B to enable use of a pulley block while winching (allowing the winch to exert a pulling force up to 2X max winch capacity).  If you have a winch, you are likely already able to do (5) single line pull, and Module C enables (6) double line pull and (7) redirect.
