This Kit comes with an ASR Poly Flat Strap, two 3/8" Safety Green ASR Flex Soft Shackles, and a drawstring ASR Stash Bag with sewn-on side handle.
The Poly Flat Strap - made in the USA in an ISO 9001:2008 certified facility - is a versatile tool that is ideal for lifting, towing/pulling equipment or moving debris. It is made with layers of special military-grade webbing that is mildew, moisture and UV resistant, and features Cordura wear pads on the inside of the eyes. The reversed eye design is ideal for all three hitch configurations, and prevents twisting of the eye or sling body when using in a basket or choker hitch. It can be used as a tow strap, non-kinetic recovery strap, anchor point for a winching effort similar to a tree saver, effectively acting as a winch line extension. The multi-purpose nature of this accessory makes it an invaluable tool for anyone who is serious about offroading, and the durable design ensures you will be using your strap for years to come. ASR Poly Flat Straps are available in Red or High-Visibility Green. They have an MTS of 31,000 lbs. Applying an industry standard 5:1 Safety Factor yields the following recommended Working Load Limits - Vertical: 6,200 lbs, Choker: 4,960 lbs, Basket: 12,400 lbs.
ASR's Flex Soft Shackles - made in the USA in an ISO 9001:2008 certified facility - are stronger and much lighter than comparable steel shackles. They are so light that they float, and they will not rust. Plasma has the best abrasion resistance of any synthetic fiber made, and these soft shackles are coated with an exterior polymeric coating to provide additional protection. There is no stronger Soft Shackle on the market. Applications include: 4x4 off-road/vehicle recovery, towing, military, agriculture & mining equipment and various marine activities. Flex Soft Shackles can be washed off with water and air dried. This item is manufactured and tested in conformance with API Q1 Specification standards. Although Plasma fibers are stronger than steel, they are susceptible to wear and cutting - always inspect shackle before use for excess wear, cutting, or worn and frayed areas. ASR's 3/8" x 10" Flex Soft Shackle has an MTS of 43,500 lbs. Applying an industry standard 5:1 Safety Factor yields a recommended Working Load Limit of 8,700 lbs.
