ASR's Kinetic Recovery Tow Ropes are THE tool to use when towing stuck vehicles, with up to 20% stretch under nominal load (30% stretch at max strength rating) that facilitates the smooth transfer of max kinetic energy from the towing vehicle to the stuck vehicle. ASR's 2-1/2" diameter Ultimate Kinetic Recovery Rope is a truly epic piece of recovery equipment designed for use on heavy-duty vehicles such as tractors, heavy utility trucks and armored vehicles. This rope is constructed with Double Braid Nylon with a 201,000 lb MTS, and features an abrasion resistant polymeric coating that provides excellent UV protection and superior resistance to weather and water absorption. This rope includes all the same features common to our Kinetic Recovery Rope family, including double braided nylon professionally spliced in the USA and a permanent data tag that includes an individualized serial number for item tracking purposes. Higher capacity power, smoother pulling and the highest quality materials and construction meant this rope will provide outstanding results for a very long time. Item is manufactured and tested in conformance with API Q1 Specification standards.
ASR's 2-1/2" Ultimate Kinetic Recovery Rope has an MTS of 201,000 lbs. Applying a Kinetic-Rope-specific 3:1 Safety factor yields a recommended Working Load Limit of 67,000 lbs.
